A 51-year-old walker has died after collapsing while on a Snowdonia mountainside.
The man, from south Wales, was about 2,000ft (600m) up Carnedd Llewellyn, above the Ogwen Valley, when he fell unconscious.
He was with two women and another man, who tried to revive him.
He was winched aboard an RAF Sea King helicopter from RAF Valley, and resuscitation efforts continued as he was flown to hospital in Bangor.
An ambulanceman who was also on the helicopter helped the attempts to revive him, and members of Ogwen Valley Mountain rescue team climbed to the scene.
